can i take cialis with effexor

Anyone taking Zoloft with Effexor?

I have been taking Zoloft for years and swear by it—at least for depression and self-esteem enhancer. Unfortunately when I increase the dosage to 200mg's, I loose all sex drive and even feelings of intimate emotion, which is very frustrating. The only other antidepressant that I can think worked was Effexor. I am going to discuss with my doctor about decreasing the Zoloft to 100mg and adding Effexor to balance out this side effect.

Does anyone have any comments, suggestion, or tricks that worked or them?

You may want to look up Wellbutrin as it's an antidepressant med that is most often used to augment other antidepressants. Also, it's known to have the ability to correct the sex drive issue. This may or may not work for you, but would probably be a better bet than the Effexor. Then again, we all react differently to these sorts of meds, and I'm by no means a doctor!

I can only reiterate what jk13 has already shared. My doctor recently put me on Wellbutrin along with my other antidepressant to combat the lack of sex drive. Wellbutrin is suppose to help with sexual dysfunction.

Of course, if you are a man, then you have the possibility of Cialis or Viagra. Best to discuss with the doctor, though.

Effexor and cialis

I am taking 75mg of effexor xr and just started taking a higher does of 37.5 mg. How long does it usually take for the higher dose to take effect? When should I notice a difference, if any?

We have only been together for a few months and he has mentioned a few times lately that he is now happier than he has ever been and that he want's to come off Effexor and see how he goes. As a nurse, I know that many anti-depressants seriously affect libido and sexual function, but haven't wanted to tell him in case it comes across as me not being satisfied with our sex life thus putting more pressure on him.

It has honestly been at least 3 years since Effexor has been in my system, and I'm still struggling with this problem. Even masturbating goes quicker. I'm currently dating a girl and when she is on top, I find that I can get some "staying power" back, but when I'm on top, I have a hard time lasting more than a few minutes tops. Sex hasn't really felt truly fulfilling to me in years and it's a huge source of frustration.

After this he ended up getting his parathyroid removed and seems better, but still takes the effexor and suboxone everyday. We have not had sex since the date of CONCEIVING my daughter. I have been very patient with this, but as time keeps passing by, it becomes bothersome as well. I have been very supportive and don't want to force him to come off the medications unless he is ready and comfortable as we cannot go down that bad road again.

No mention of female inability to orgasm, no mention of male ejaculatory failure, no mention of sexual anhedonia or sexual anesthesia in both men and women and no mention of loss of libido or sex drive in both men and women. All the consumer of modern antidepressants is being told is that there maybe some poor sexual performance. This is meaningless, unfair and disingenuous. But unfortunately, it gets much worse.

If I were you (and I know we are all different) I would talk to my Dr about stopping the wellbutrin and just try the effexor. Effexor is also pretty stimulating but does help with anxiety. Put the two together and your anxiety may go up. Also, I would only stay on the effexor long enough to get help for your anxiety and then wean off it. It was VERY VERY hard to come off that med. I believe effexor and paxil are the two hardest ADs to withdraw from.

My best friend was on Effexor. and it was terrible..he switched to Lexapro and it was and is great for him, too. Now, having said all that. I'm not sure starting an SSRI and going through withdrawal at the same time is a good thing. never done it that way, and probably wouldn't want to. But, if you think it's time for the Lexapro. the sooner you start, the better. They wean you onto it the first week up to 10mg. I've been there for several months and it has really worked for me.

To test things out, I weaned myself off of the drug around January and remained only on 60mg of Cymbalta. I suffer from depression and anxiety. The Cymbalta (I used to be on Zoloft) is really not all that by itself. no sex drive, fatigue, and general apathy. The combination treatment with budeprion has proven wonderful, as it helps offset the side effects of the SSRIs and SNRIs. When I was off of the budeprion, my blood pressure went down, and I felt more calm--almost sedated.

I take 175 effexor daily, I started that in October, and it has helped a lot. I am able to feel temperature changes and wetness, but no stimulation. The only way I could tell I was inside my gf was that it felt a little warmer and there was no way my pelvis could be touching hers unless my penis was in her vagina.

Visited regular doctor, ophthalmologist, and neuro- ophthalmologist. Several MRIs of brain and eyes with and without contrast were normal (spaced about 4 years apart). Eye exam is normal (vision is 20/20 uncorrected). Tests for Horners, MS, MG were negative. These doctors are stumped. This started about 5 years ago with infrequent episodes, but now the frequency has increased. Any assistance would be appreciated.

In 2014 I had severe depression and was given EFFEXOR XR (Anti Depressant) and ABILIFY (Anxiety) pills to treat my depression, I was also seeing a psychologist. Since August 2014 up to May 2015 I was on both pills. I saw 2 psychologists from September 2014 to March 2015 and was deemed treated and nothing psychologically wrong with me. While I was on the pills I felt my body changing, I was more tired and lack of energy.

I need to get this done very, very soon, I am behind on every bill I have and paying $250/month for MMT, I figure if the 3rd tier copay on my sub and cialis is 50 each I can keep my head above water by taking shorted lunched and getting to work early and staying a tad late everyday. -/ What a mess. please, any info you have, anyone been through something similar? What's it like talking to the insurers? Do I have anything to worry about or is honesty truly the best policy?

Correctable with drugs(cialis ).I would like to talk more but I have an idiot here at work who reads over my shoulder and I must stop so I can DESTROY him. Oh yeah, and my temper is kinda frikken short!

I have not been masturbating lately either, I used to do it a lot but I went like a week or two without, and I did it this morning and came before I even got hard. Is it broken? Should I try viagra or something? I don't smoke, I exercise, I am a vegetarian, should I eat more meat? Do I just think about it too much. but how can I not, when it is so important to me? I know a young man who was on Effexor and he had the same problem. He had to resort to taking Cialis daily. Now he is off the AD's and has no problem anymore. I will be seeing a top hormone doctor next week in the states regarding my on going struggles. I will update everyone on the progress. Can you explain what you mean by getting "thinner" and the pain? Where does the pain come from and what is it like? I do get testicular pain now and again due to the varicocele and sometimes tingling in the penis head/glans which can be painful at times.

I got to a point where I simply didn't want to take any meds anymore so came off of that, Effexor. and adderall. I was completely med free for over a year and in general have handled it well despite consistent anxiety keeping me from getting to sleep and lack of ability to concentrate which I believe is fueled more by anxiety. I have been under an enormous amount of stress and finally went back to my dr. He started me on .5 to 1mg if ativan prn.
